AT&T pulled this of nicely with the exclusive Apple iPhone and T-Mobile is appealing to the free phone masses with a new Nokia 6650 exclusive handset for Europe. The Nokia 6650 handset will be available across Europe in Q3 2008 exclusively from T-Mobile. T-Mobile says the 6650 will retail for only 1 euro together with the Relax 100 rate. The phone features a 2.2-inch TFT QVGA screen displaying 16 million colors.

The Nokia 6650 will be available in Q3 of 2008 across Europe through T-Mobile. This flap-styled phone features 2.2-inch TFT QVGA color display, a 2 megapixel camera with flash, 30 MB of internal memory, a micro SD card slot and FM radio. Also it includes advanced features such as AGPS, High-speed HSDPA data connectivity enabling fast web browsing and downloading.

Nokia may have been simply trying to build up the tension on the first day of Mobile Asia 2008 here in Delhi, but day two saw them in a new light with the bringing out of their big guns that were recently shown off at Barcelona. This is what we wanted to see from them and they delivered. However their main theme seemed to be Navigation, as they showcased most of the handsets that featured GPS. For starters, Nokia brought out their very, very talked about N96 super phone. The one that does it all.

New Delhi: Nokia displayed some of its best GPS handsets at the Mobile Asia 2008. Amongst the first to be showcased, was the Nokia N96 slider phone, which has a built-in 16GB memory, with an option to enhance it further through a MicroSD memory slot. This new model can hook up to wireless networks using its Wi-Fi feature, and is capable of capturing some stunning images through the 5 mega-pixel camera that features Carl Zeiss optics.
